1. Stroll Through The Festival of Trees
Need some inspiration for decorating your Christmas tree? This weekend the first annual Festival of Trees will take place in the Milltown Historic District in New Braunfels. The festival will feature thirty fully decorated holiday trees donated by local organizations and individuals. In fact, if you don’t already own a tree feel free to bid on the trees on display, if you win it will be delivered to you! The event doubles as a silent auction benefitting the Comal County Senior Center and Central Texas Advocates for Seniors. Come by the Milltown Historic District this weekend to enjoy live music, warm food, raffles, and decorated trees!

2. Attend 3 Redneck Tenors Christmas Spectacular
A show full of comedy and musical prowess alike, The 3 Redneck Tenors travel to New Braunfels this weekend to put on a show sure to entertain. The tenors have been singing together for some time but first made an appearance on the national stage during the 2007 edition of America’s Got Talent. Nowadays the guys have a steady stage show full of antics and singing, and tour a few times a year. The 3 Redneck Tenors Christmas SPEC-TAC-YULE-AR is the special touring edition of the show for the holiday season. The show is sure to have you laughing throughout the night!

3. Take the Kids to First Friday Flicks
There may be no more classic Friday night celebration than dinner and a movie. A go to activity for couples and families everywhere, there are few activities more frequented than the Friday night combo. This weekend, why not switch it up a bit? No worries, you won’t have to miss out on a movie, New Braunfels has you covered! The Fischer Park Amphitheater offers free movies on the first Friday of each month. Attendees are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, food and drinks. This weekend enjoy a showing of Disney Nature’s “Earth” while also enjoying the great outdoors.

4. Run the Christmas at the Caverns 5k Night Run
Hoping to stay active this holiday season? Head to Natural Bridge Caverns this Saturday night for an event that is equal parts festive and active. The Christmas at the Caverns 5k Run takes place on the hayride route in the midst of the “Christmas at the Caverns” event. The race itself is a night race and requires a headlamp. The festivities on the other hand are full of light! The area will be decked out in Christmas decorations while the caverns themselves will play host to live caroling and the Journey to Bethlehem show. If you’re hoping to stay above ground there is even a Christmas Village to enjoy. There’s something for everyone this weekend at Natural Bridge Caverns!

5. Go on a Christmas Tour of Homes
The perfect opportunity to check out the best decorated homes around, this weekend the New Braunfels Republican Women host the 21st Annual Christmas Tour of Homes. The tour includes eight different locations throughout New Braunfels that are sure to impress. To make matters better, the event also includes a scheduled stop for refreshments at The Gallery at The Milltown Historic District. The event is sure to showcase some of the most beautiful homes around, and provide decorating ideas for all!
