The light display inspires awe and brings smiles to the faces of those who enter as thousands of lights dance along to cheerful music. Santa’s Ranch is celebrating its 14th season and features over a mile of displays full of holiday cheer that are sure to impress. The Ranch will feature holiday staples in hot cocoa and kettle corn, along with other treats. Take a trip to Santa’s Ranch for a chance to see your favorite Christmas celebrity!

Visit the World Famous Snake Farm
If you’re looking for a family outing that is both educational and enjoyable, why not spend the day at the Snake Farm! Technically named Animal World and Snake Farm Zoo, the attraction generally referred to simply as the Snake Farm attracts visitors from around the world and has even been featured on the television show Dirty Jobs! The Snake Farm is home to 200 species of snakes but also features other exotic animals like lemurs, alligators, wolves, white lions, and more! The zoo hosts a variety of shows and learning experiences throughout the day on weekends, including an alligator feeding each Sunday. Have Dinner at The Gristmill
The most famous restaurant in Gruene, The Gristmill is a must visit spot for many when touring the Texas Hill Country. The Gristmill is famous for its pristine location elevated high above the Guadalupe River, which makes for great views and a calm breeze. The Gristmill also rose to fame thanks to a very close proximity to Gruene Hall, it’s right next door! The waiting area provides live music in a beautiful outdoor setting, and the ambiance of the actual restaurant is second to none. Celebrate 2015 with The Georges
The Phoenix Saloon is one of New Braunfels most frequented bars and concert venues for a variety of reasons. The downtown location is second to none, while the history of the establishment is quite interesting. The saloon originally opened in 1871 and was the first bar in Texas to serve women. Closed during prohibition and later reconfigured as a department store, the Phoenix Saloon surged back onto the scene in 2010. This weekend come out to celebrate the end of 2015 with The Georges Big End of Year Rockabilly Dance Party. The event will feature specials, live music, plenty of dancing, and no cover!
