About Amy Nelson
I am originally from the small town of Groveton, TX, located in the heart of Deep East Texas. I moved to the area in 2010 and worked in the oil and gas industry for about six years before deciding I needed a change of pace. I began taking my real estate courses and found my home with The Smartt Team. I joined the team in April 2016 and worked as the Transaction Coordinator while obtaining my real estate license in 2017. Being in that position for over six years, I learned so much about real estate and how The Smartt Team strives to serve our clients. In July 2022, I accepted the position of Team Leader and COO of the team. I work closely every day with our agents to help them grow and achieve their goals. We are dedicated to providing the best service that makes you feel like family. When I’m not working with the team, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughters, and grandsons. We love traveling to the Colorado mountains and hitting the Texas coast to go fishing.
