Have you been working so hard, punching your card? Do you have this feeling that times are holding you down...you’ll hit the ceiling or tear up this town? Sounds like you’ve gotta cut loose: Footloose, to be exact. (See what we did there?) After a long nine-to-five week, unwind and let your hair down with the classic music and contagious choreography of Circle Arts Theatre’s rendition of Footloose! Based on the hit ’80s movie, the musical Footloose tells the story of a small, conservative Midwestern town that has outlawed dancing and rock music. When young newcomer Ren McCormack comes to town, he decides to fight the system with some music and moves. The musical itself has been nominated for four Tony Awards, including Best Original Score and Best Choreography!

Founded in 1968, Circle Arts Theater has spent over 40 years dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in the performing arts and the affirmation and growth of the human spirit.

When: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8:00pm, Sunday matinee at 2:00pm

Where: Circle Arts Theatre, 124 Elizabeth Avenue
