The timeless tale of redemption and softening of the hard-hearted Scrooge transcend genres, which is certainly the case this weekend! The night will feature a 7-piece band featuring Texas natives and a variety of local singers as they retell the story of Scrooge coming around to the Christmas Spirit with their own distinct flair. In some ways the Christmas season is about returning to our roots and celebrating them with friends and family. Located on the site of the first settlement’s cornerstone, The Sophienburg Museum and Archives exists to tell about the triumphs and challenges faced by the settlers of New Braunfels. Filled with exhibits and documents, the museum is first class and provides a wealth of interesting information about New Braunfels’ colorful history.

Give Thanks at Christmas By The Cliff

It’s no secret that Comal County has had a tumultuous relationship with Mother Nature this year. However, New Braunfels and surrounding cities have responded admirably, by banding together and coming back stronger. This weekend Gypsy River Resort hosts an event dedicated to both celebrating and supporting the re building efforts of the past year. Christmas By The Cliff will feature live music, food, cocoa, s’mores, and more! There will also be live and silent auctions to raise money for the local Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, and a tree lighting to celebrate the season! Head on out to Christmas By The Cliff to celebrate community and support a good cause!
