Five Things to Do in New Braunfels (and Seguin!) This Weekend (September 16-18)

There’s always something happening in New Braunfels! Though the small-town atmosphere is alive and well, the local calendar is anything but sleepy. This weekend is no exception: you have your choice of multiple events, deals, and happenings in and around town. No need to are some of the best fun things to do in New Braunfels (and one in Seguin!) this weekend!

Watch a Performance at the Theatre

Put on your evening’s best and head down to the theatre to catch a stage performance of Jerome Lawrence and Robert Edwin Lee’s “Inherit the Wind.” The story is a fictional account of the real-life 1925 Scopes “Monkey” Trial, which discusses the unlawfulness to teach human evolution in any state-funded school. This play originally premiered in 1955, and the success and popularity of it have continued to be revived and adapted decades after. Tickets can be found on the website.  Be sure to get them quick! It is the last weekend to see this performance before the season ends.

When: Friday & Saturday @ 8:00PM, Sunday @ 2:00PM
