2. Go Painting with Friends
Painting with a Twist has a great line up of painting events happening this June. Classes will have themes like Beauty and the Beast, Birds and Blooms, Bambi, Starry Night Over Gruene Hall, Texas Vintage, and more! Seats costs about $35, and you must register here before attending to ensure your spot in the studio.

3. Take a Food Course

The Comal County ESD is hosting the Food IQ Summer Cooking Camp this month at the Preston Memorial Library. Kids will get a chance to partake in fun cooking activities while learning about food science. They will also learn a few healthy, yummy recipes and gain basic cooking skills to feel more confident in the kitchen. Maybe they will be the ones cooking dinner from now on!

4. Play Mixed Foursomes Golf
Head down to the Landa Park Golf Course on Thursday, June 8th for a 9-hole, 4-person team scramble! Two men and two women will compete on each team and play half the course in the evening. For $30 per player, you’ll get a cart, heavy appetizers, and two drink tickets. Register by June 5th by visiting the Landa Park Golf Course website.

5. Participate in a Domino Tournament

7. Get Lucky at Casino Night
Saturday, June 24th at the McKenna Events Center, a Casino Night Fundraiser will benefit the Lennon-Aid Foundation. 8. Compete in a Run and Swim Event

The sixth annual Dos Rios Splash and Dash 5K event is going on this month to benefit the New Braunfels Parks Foundation. Tailor this event to your adventure level by either running the 5K or adding the challenge of tubing through the chute. 9. Watch Shrek the Musical
Shrek the Musical is coming to the Brauntex Theatre this summer. Earn your American Red Cross Babysitter, CPR, and First Aid certifications this summer so you can start making money babysitting.
